Which foods AREN’T Primal?

CARBS!

The only exceptions are the ones listed in the approved foods from our Seriously Primal list.

To be Seriously Primal, you absolutely need to avoid anything on this list, or made of any:

  • Barley
  • Bread
  • Cakes
  • Cookies/Biscuits
  • Chocolate
  • Cereals
  • Corn
  • Flour
  • Grains
  • Oats
  • ANY Packaged Food (including meals and snacks)
  • Pasta
  • Potatoes
  • Processed Foods
  • Rice
  • Rye
  • Spaghetti
  • Sweets
  • Vegetable Oils
  • Wheat

This includes what is usually perceived as ‘healthy’ grains, such as rye bread, granola, wholegrain, brown bread, brown rice.

DON’T EAT A ‘BALANCED DIET’, JUST EAT QUALITY FATS AND PROTEIN (and several fruits and vegetables)

I find it extremely frustrating how even though virtually everyone’s aware that sugar is responsible for the obesity issues in our society, the government still recommends a balanced diet, simply promoting the reduction of calories to lose weight. If you want to lose weight and are not diabetic, then don’t balance your diet, but stick to the guidelines above to turn yourself into a fat-burning machine.
